FAQs

1What is the consumption regimen that is recommended?
Drinking at least one or two of our six formulas per day will provide a variety of produce to add to your normal eating habits, enhancing the daily vitamins, micro-nutrients, and anti-oxidants in your diet.
2Why are there several formulas with the same vegetables and fruits? What is the difference?
There are two reasons for repetition of some ingredients in our formulas. First, several ingredients, considered “superfoods” are extremely nutrient dense and have multiple beneficial effects on health. These have been included in all of the formulas to enhance their effects on your health. Second, some fruits and vegetables that, while being extremely nutritious, also enhance the flavor of our juices, muting some of the harsher ingredients and providing you with a delicious, refreshing juice.
3What if I don’t like one? Does that eliminate the total benefit since it is a designed program?
It is perfectly okay to choose only the formulas which you like the best as long as you consume at least one bottle daily over a six-day period.
4What about fiber content?
Fiber is extremely important to the body and your health, and we encourage eating a diet rich in whole fruits and vegetables. However, fiber also slows down digestion of the nutrients and makes it more difficult to consume all of the produce you need. The OLUS+ ™ formulas remove most of the fiber and deliver concentrated nutrients that are quickly absorbed in a convenient 12oz bottle. However, our hydraulic presses utilize “coarse woven” bags which allow small amounts of pulp to into each bottle.
5Do I need to follow the sequence of 1 then 2 then 3, etc. or does it work in random?
Our formulas can be consumed in any order you wish. Also, because each formula contains at least 5 or 6 different fruits and vegetables, you can pick the ones you like best and still receive the benefits of our juice.
6Will OLUS+ Cold-Pressed Juice benefit my cholesterol?
Diet plays a large role in the production of cholesterol. It has been shown that increasing the fruits and vegetables in your diet can reduce your cholesterol, especially LDL, which is most closely linked to coronary disease. Some of this benefit has been linked to the fiber present in whole fruits and vegetables. However, the antioxidant properties of these foods have also been shown to play a role. Turmeric, for example, has been shown to prevent the absorption of cholesterol in the intestines and its anti-inflammatory properties may prevent the conversion of LDL into more dangerous compounds, which are more likely to cause arterial plaque.
